Before assuming a fault, check the basics.
Basic checks
- Is there power at the socket and the fuse board?
- Has a fuse tripped?
- Is the main switch on?
- Does the machine have water? Many machines will not start without it.
Possible faults
- A circuit board or keypad problem (moisture, wear).
- A worn switch.
- A worn heating element.
Circuit board repair
In service we run an electronic test of the board, clean it of moisture, replace damaged parts and laminate it to protect against moisture. See service and repair.
