Coffee machine has no pressure

When the gauge shows low pressure or the coffee drips instead of running, there are only a few common causes. Start with the simple ones.

What to check first

  1. Is there water at the tap and in the tank, and is the supply open?
  2. Is the basket blocked or the grind too fine?
  3. Are the group gaskets worn?
  4. Can you hear the pump working?

Common causes

  • Blocked baskets or a grind that is too fine.
  • Scale in the pipes and solenoid valves.
  • Worn pump or pressure regulator.
  • Worn gaskets and leaks at the group.

When to book a service

If pressure does not return after the simple checks, a technician needs to inspect it. Our coffee machine service includes descaling, group checks and replacement of worn parts.
